The RNLI Weymouth Lifeboat Guild is a branch of the fund-raising section of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. The RNLI relies totally on voluntary contributions and volunteer crew men/women and the sole aim of the Guild is to fund boats and equipment for the saving of lives at sea. |

| Volunteer Role: |
| The Guild exists to support the work of the RNLI and its aim is primarily fundraising. Willing volunteers are always welcome to assist in fundraising events, either in organised social functions, door to door collections, or general fund raising events.

Sponsored Slim for the RNLI: |
| |
Martin Mowlem of Freyssinet Telford undertook a sponsored slim in aid of the RNLI and lost a total of 2 stone over three months. Martin raised £450.00 from his sponsored slim and is pictured here donating the cheque to Coxswain Andy Sargent with his principal sponsor Graham Young of Professional Welding. |
